I was seen 9 days ago for a horrendous cough. At the visit I was told to take prednisone a certain way. The dispensing was incorrect. I was also told I would get an order for a chest xray which was not given to me. Then at the end of the visit she told me she couldn't even see me anymore because she is administrative. Why was I not scheduled with someone that could actually care for me then?! I called 3 days ago complaining because I am still no better asking for any help! I didn't get a call back until today. They asked I get the chest xray done which I am fully willing to do. I asked them to send the order to SMIL. They can't even do that right! They faxed the order to SimonMed. Sad fact is I am a nurse and I even used to work with this woman. There used to be proper patient care but this whole facility has made my experience with Optum AWFUL!!! I will never return to any of this practice again! I would highly recommend you do the same if you actually want taken care of.

Anyone out their ever had scabies ? Anyone out there ever had to wait to see their PCP for a referral to a specialist while their scabies advances to crusted scabies? I am looking more like a monster everyday, I'm waiting to get offered a stand in part on the walking dead. If you get cut in half by a train you move to the front of the line but if you have scabies you cant itch, scab or crust your way anywhere....you just get to wait while those tiny little arthopods slowly inch along laying eggs, wrinkling your skin, creating lesions and sores and lowly disfiguring you to a point where your own momma couldn't pick you out of a line up. So do I need to visit or patronize an establishment before a rating can be issued ? I think not.

Rude. Silly office policies. Come in for a prescription refill -- your insurance gets billed for a full physical. Rip off, long waits and she's got no personality.

If you want to feel like you are I a concentration camp, then have Dr. Tara M. Ostrom as your PCP.

I am 48yr old female, Dr. Ostrom tried to dissuade me out of having my annual mammogram stating that under age 50 it was only recommended every OTHER year. I explained to her that the American Cancer Society recommends every year beginning at age 40. She gave me my mammogram slip and I was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer with a grade 3, which is aggressive. If I had waited another year to have my mammogram, as she recommended, the outcome would have been quite different. I wouldn't see this her again for even a strep culture and I have a difficult time referring to her as a Dr.

I agree with the other posts. I also went in for a prescription refill. I Waited for an hour past my appointment time for Dr. Ostrom to come in and tell me she "doesn't feel comfortable" writing a prescription the for me. It is not a narcotic and I had already been taking it for 3 years. In my opinion ALL the doctors at this office are horrible. If you schedule and appointment at 9:00am, it is almost a guarantee you will not see anyone until at least 10:00.

TERRIBLE Place. Went in to ask for a prescription to be written for something very simple--no health evaluation needed. They charged me for the highest cost of service (multiple hundreds of dollars after insurance)! I disputed and they claim that since I mentioned other medical conditions while in the office (due to the dr asking me), they could bill for it! Even though no further discussion was had about it nor was any medical advice provided. Terrible terrible place! would NOT recommend to anyone.
