Dr. Shirazian is excellent! She came highly recommended when I was suffering from PCOS and Fibroids. I spent years of my life in pain and essentially, medically gaslit. I finally found what I needed through Dr. Shirazian’s experience and willingness to listen; she and her NP were able to diagnose and treat me for endometriosis and adnomyosis which I’d been dealing with for over 25 years and went undetected. I recently had a laparoscopic supracervical Hysterectomy with Dr Shirazian at NYU. Stemming from an enlarged uterus and fifty plus fibroids. After being told by many doctors I was not an candidate for laparoscopic surgery. She was able to remove them laparoscopically. I was in and out in the same day with 3 tiny incisions. The level of Care and knowledge she has on Fibroids are unmatched. Dr. Shirazian explained all options that was available to me with Research date to back up my option. I am so happy I chose her. I highly recommend any women who is suffering with fibroids to see her. After 35 years of suffering with fibroids I finally have my quality of life back. I am absolutely grateful for Dr. Shirazian, she helped me get my life back. When I first met her, I automatically felt so comfortable around her. I recently had surgery performed by Dr. Shirazian and all I can say is that she has blessed hands! After shopping around (so to speak) for the right surgeon I came across her via a Google search. The scheduled an appointment and from the moment she walked in the room I knew I would be moving forward with her. The first two doctors I encountered did not make me feel seen or heard, Dr. Shirazian was the complete opposite. I felt seen, heard and understood when speaking with her at my consultation and she took her time to explain all of my options. It was really refreshing. Fast forward to surgery day I was nervous, but ready. Her team is literally amazing and as someone who has never had surgery in my life they made me feel safe. The surgery was a success by the grace of God and she removed all of my fibroids and believe me, I had a lot! Personally speaking, my pain was very minimal after the surgery and as I write this two weeks post-op, I feel brand new. I say she has blessed hands… because she not only saved my uterus, but she made the incision extremely small. It’s healing very nicely and I am really happy about that. I highly recommend Dr. Shirazian and her team. There are some doctors who don’t care about the work or people and there are others that do.
