Dr. Tarek Assaad Taha, MD

Dr. Taha is a very caring and knowledgeable physician. He took his time in going over the options I had for my injured knee. He made me feel like I was his only patient of the day, I never felt rushed. I came into his office very nervous and anxious about my knee injury and left his office feeling very confident in the plan we agreed on to help my knee recover. I highly recommend Dr. Taha.

Taha is cold, aloof, doesn't communicate. Desk-Tracie is rude, a bully, keeps you on hold, no check back-11 min. Xray tech leaves room before you get off too high table. No help with positioning you for x-rays.

Go elsewhere, Dr. Taha misdiagnosed my condition. He wanted to amputate my leg, so thankful I got another opinion. He only cares about the $$$, not the patient.

I had a significant traumatic injury and landed in the lap of Dr. Taha. He took an injury that the ER physician said would likely change my life and spent many hours in surgery fixing. He visited me every day in the hospital and made sure I was progressing along until my discharge. He kept a close eye on me in my follow up visits. HIs staff is wondering and he took so much time to explain things one-on-one. I would recommend him to anybody.

First visit after ER referral was seen and treated by Ortho resident. Didn’t see Dr. Taha until 2 weeks after my fracture occurred and that was for 2 mi utes only cause I demanded to see him. My fracture was not in alignment and healed improperly causing pain and problems. Ended up getting a second opinion which resulted in a referral to U of M chief of hand wrist surgery. Eight mo this later had to have major surgery to correct Dr. Taha’s error. Will not recommend this Ortho Dr. Very disatified with his care.

Staff very rude and not helpful.

Knee surgery was had very good results with no complications and a positive rehab. .Dr. Tarek is a very kind, friendly experienced surgeon as is demonstrated and evidenced by the success of my total knee surgery.

I'm still currently stuck under this physicians care, but my experience has been an unpleasant one. I injured my knee over 2 weeks and had to have my insurance call them to hurry along an mri. The staff is not very pleasant. Mri won't be reviewed for nearly abother week. Patients aren't treated as a priority. I haven't been able to straighten my leg or walk for over 2 weeks.
