Dr. Tareq Nabih Darwish Braik, MD

I cannot say enough good about this doctor! He is currently treating my mom for stage 4 lung cancer. He has the best bedside manner of any doctor I have ever come into contact with. I haven’t been able to make it to every appointment with my mom, but when she asked if she could put me on speaker during the first appointment, he included me in the conversation and made sure all of her questions and mine were answered in a way we understood. He has always been up front about the issues, but has a more positive approach which keeps both myself and my mother in good spirits. I have called the doctor’s office on two occasions while my mother was in the hospital for additional questions. Both times leaving messages with the nurse asking the doctor to call when he becomes available. He called back SAME DAY both times, even if slightly after business hours. This man is incredibly knowledgeable in the field of oncology and knows how to break that knowledge down in a way that patients and family… will understand. I don’t normally write reviews and I’ve been skeptical of almost anyone that works at Porter due to past experience, but I can honestly say I am so incredibly grateful that Dr. Braik is my mother’s Oncologist. I know she is in good hands.

Excellent doctor!! Gives patients a lift in their spirits!! Which in turn helps the patient stay positive! This is just in addition to his knowledge and help with the cancer. He is treating my brother and I am grateful for him!!!

Very honest and truthful never beat around the bush but he's very gentle with his words and approach very kind
