Dr. Tarik Kardestuncer, MD

Dr kardestuncer spent approximately 30 seconds in the room with me, didn't assess the injury at all and left the room. His PA was impatient, sassy, spoke very poorly of my referring physician and staff, was incredibly rough when rewrapping my open wound, squeezing over the top of the laceration and injured tendons to the extent I had to pull away and began crying. She left the room visibly annoyed that I was unhappy with my visit (or lack thereof). I refuse to follow up with this doctor. Avoid if possible!!!

Dr. K was amazing from The first visit all the way through surgery and aftercare. His bedside manner is impeccable, he makes sure the patient feels comfortable, heard, and cared for. He took the time to make sure I understood the nature of my injury and what needed to be done to ensure I regained functionality. Too bad he specializes in only upper extremities!

I had surgery a little over 2 months ago, and my hand is more painful now than it was prior to surgery. I don’t have any real opinion on his surgical skills, because I don’t know if the pain is this bad because of that or because of something I did. I like Dr. K as a person, but the office is a mess. After my surgery I asked the doctor to call in an anti- nausea medication because otherwise the pain pills make me vomit. After several calls by me, my husband, and my pharmacist, the medication was never called in. I tried taking the painkillers anyway, and after vomiting all night I just stopped taking them. Then I had a medical assistant tell me I would not be getting any more narcotics. I hadn’t asked, but anyway, how is that her decision?? The final straw came when the physical therapy department turned me away- twice- because they couldn’t figure out my insurance. Then when I called to ask if they would have the same issue at my next doctor follow up, the girl said “so you want to… cancel your appointment?” Seriously??? I will say that Christian, the therapist I worked with, is absolutely the best. I just wish the support staff knew what they were doing.

Surgery was needed for a wrist plate and screws. Dr. K is very intentive in his work and as this surgery is a great success and my mobility of my wrist is great. I'm very greatful all turned out well.

No other doctor - and I went to five different specialists - could figure out my medical problem but Doctor "K" knew!! Because of him, I finally got better after three months of suffering. I highly recommend him!

This doctor performed Carpal Tunnel surgery on my left wrist 4 yrs ago. Surgery was successful with no complaints. I am now scheduled to have the right wrist done. I have found him to be understanding, patient, and of good humor. I would reccomend him to anyone.

Thrilled with the result of my wrist repair! Radial Osteotomy with plate repair followed by OT services resulted in return of nearly full range of motion and substantial lessening of pain!

Nothing I hate more than being rushed by an apathetic doctor!! Waited a half hour for my last appointment for me to get into a room and him to fly in, talk for two minutes then try to leave. I yelled at him to sit down because I had questions that he needed to answer! He was a little taken aback by my raised voice to get his attention, but did sit down to listen. I expressed my concern over his lack of professionalism when it comes to MY time and concerns about my condition and the surgery he performed. I went in for surgery for on my wrist and came out worse than I went in; physical therapy is not helping. My employer and workers comp are now sending me for a second opinion. His bedside manner is atrocious, he skirts around your questions and never really answers you and he is always in a rush to get in and out of the appointment with you as soon as possible. Take my advise, find another doctor before you waster your time with him!

My wife had carpal tunnel surgery yesterday and is in a great deal of pain today and it's impossible to get a person on the phone for a prescription. They keep referring you to a patient portal which may take 24 hours! It's Friday and they don't fill prescriptions over the weekend. Very, very poor follow up.
