Dr. Tariq Mahmood Faridi, MD

Read all other 1 star reviews. They pretty much cover how much of a heartless jerk this guy is. Wouldn’t even go to him for basic med management. Shouldn’t even be practicing medicine.

Originally didn’t seem to bad with him. I went there he wrote my prescription and everything was good. However, he recently has been very lazy in getting my medication. I take an anti depressant and I have been out for the past couple days because I have not been able to contact his office AT ALL! I’ve left a dozen messages and a couple dozen phone calls in the last week on times that they are supposed to be open but they never get back! The Walgreens I pick it up from has faxed my stuff over the Claystone in order to get it pushed through quicker and they still have not done anything. I will certainly be finding a new doctor because you have lost my service and my money!

This doctor is extremely rude. I have to mentally prepare myself every time I go into the office because I know he will be extremely impolite and lack any form of empathy. I opened up to him about my OCD and without asking any questions he told me that it will never go away. He clearly doesn't care about his patients. Even the people at his office seem scared of him... considering he is a psychiatrist and people come to him with intense worries about their mental health, one would think it's an absolute necessity to have patience and be kind to the patients... he yelled at me for not attending an appointment every three months, but I was feeling fine so why would I have to see him? The appointments are $70 charging for 30 minutes and the max time he has talked to me was 10. He prescribes me more meds every time I voice a concern. Also, he refuses to sign some forms that I need. I sent them in and he did not even call back to say no, so I kept waiting and waiting and finally called and… he said he would not sign them. Clearly he is just in it for the money. I am actually terrified for my health because I've had such terrible side effects from the things he has prescribed me. I trusted him anyways, but now I'm realizing that is not something I should have done. He has continued to give me hope of a cure for my mental illnesses, only let me down throughout my years there. There is NOTHING good to say about him. Please save yourself by not seeing this man. You're better off doing nothing than seeing him.

This dude is just putting in "time" until he can retire.... If you need someone who "cares" please look elsewhere...

I'm unsure how Dr. Faridi has been able to stay in practice. He has no respect for his patients or his profession, and lacks any sense of empathy for my condition.

Horrible Dr. Had two-visits with this Dr. and he spent ten minutes with me each timeI I can't believe this man is allowed to be a psychiatrist! After two visits, I wouldn't give him a veterinary license! I was feeling very low, ready to end my life, and on my second visit this Dr. of Psychiatry castigated me for waiting in the wrong room and was clearly annoyed with me for doing so! I absolutely did not feel comfortable with this aloof and condescending Dr. after this, and went elsewhere for proper care!

I do not recommend Faridi at all. He is very rude to his patients. Doesn't listen to them at all. He treats me as if I'm just another wacko he is treating. I have dermatillomania, picking at my face. He saw me & said that I was still doing it & that it hasn't gotten better & I said yeah I guess to which he replied "So what, you don't care what you look like?". I couldn't believe he had the nerve to say that to me. I have suffered with this condition since I was 11 & it is horrible. Of course I do not like it but I cannot help it. Believe me, I've tried. It was a very mean thing to say. I hate this doctor with a passion.

Dr. Faridi is a great doctor, I have been with him 10+ years. He is very understanding and he knows what medications to put me on that work. I would recommend him to any one.
