There are two people in the world who really saved my life. Dr. Mahmood is one of them.

You will not find a more compassionate doctor than Dr. Mahmood. Yes, you may have to wait to see him, but he spends all the time he needs to with you. You will never feel rushed. He has been my oncologist for 13 years. He is a wonderful doctor and a wonderful man. To me, that means a lot when you are dealing with a life threatening disease. He cares about his patients and is shows.

Dr Mahmood is a good doctor but the whole experience from the wait to the follow up after the appointment is maddening. I've waited as long as 2 hours and at least 50 minutes on a typical visit. The office staff is terrible - the patients are booked too close together based on the dr's time spent with each patient. It's ridiculous to consistently wait for almost an hour. The front office staff has terrible follow up. They often say they will get back to you but never do. Then the patient has to do all the follow up and reiterate the same question to each person who happens to answer the phone.
