Dr. Tatiana Cordova, MD

My husband has been in the University hospital for 16 days now. Dr. Tatiana Cordove is on his family medicine team. She comes off as very cordial when explaining trearment until questioned or until the patient tries to give input. My husband is 52 years old and has 33 skin grafts on his leg. He has been on opiods for pain and often iv antibiotics for cellulitis at the hospital for nearly 50 years. Dr. Cordova , after the 16th day, comes in and tells my husband she is changing his oral pain medication to one that not only does nothing for him, but also makes him very sick. She was told this 16 days ago when he 1st arrived and she forced it on him then. After 4 days of meetings and packing to go to a different hospital they changed the medication.....now here she is today trying to put him back on it. When my husband told her he was refusing the medication she repeatedly argued that he was going to take the one that doesnt work and makes him sick (oral dilaudid). Who does she think she… is? A medical degree does not make her God...which she seems to act like. She was unwilling to listen or take my husband's last 50 years living with his condition into account. Then when questioned she became angry and wouldn't discuss options at all except for the 1 med that makes him sick. This woman does not care about her patients and has no compassion for terminal patients dealing with a lifetime of pain. She was unwilling to even make any other recommendations to the team. She does not deserve to practice medicine and certainly should not be playing with anyones health as closed-minded as she is! BEWARE...do not fund her vacations by letting her treat your loved ones the way she treated mine!!
