Dr. Tatyana Goldman, MD

Even though she is a little difficult to understand at times, she has been terrific and helping me through my issues with neuropathy. I like her personally. She listens and is understanding my needs.

She is the first doctor in this past month that I have been fighting to get medical help and to be listened to that actually took the time to thoroughly examine me and listen to everything I’ve had to say! She is also fighting to get me the MRI I need, even if my insurance is denying me she is still fighting for me! So far I would have to say she is a wonderful neurologist! I am in horrible pain right now and she is the only one willing to help me! They also scheduled me very quickly even if I am a new patient! Her husband Bob who handles the scheduling is a very nice man too and also willing to help in anyway he can! Yes she has a very thick accent but she takes the time to makes sure I understand her and what steps we will be taking to get me help!

I saw the Dr. when I had a stroke. I kept telling her it was a stroke and she insisted it was a complicated migraine. I had a stroke in my 20's plus a medical back round and know the difference between the two. I also had a blood clotting disorder that contributed to it. She did not want to hear any of it. When I finally got health insurance back I went to another Dr. and she confirmed what I had been saying! I found out I am not permitted to work because I could have a major stroke and my issues from the last one. Because of her misdiagnosis I cannot get SSD. I'm in my early 50's and stuck. Please get a second opinion!

Office was messy and unkempt. Medical information was out in plan view where patients could see it. The doctor did not speak very good English at all. Very hard to understand so communication was very difficult. She did not listen to my concerns and ordered a bunch of tests for something that is not relevant to my case. She also tried changing my prescription for Zoloft since she is a Psychiatrist but I was not there for my depression. Just over all a bad visit and experience. I would NEVER recommend her to any of my friends or family members.

I liked Dr. Goldman the minute I met her. She is professional, to the point and very knowledgeable. Just to understand, it is the patient's responsibility to know their own insurance as to whether the office they have been referred to if it was in/out of net. That is one of the reason's you have an insurance card with a phone number. I've always had follow-up appointments and Bob is awesome.

Dr Goldman is fine for the initial office visit but has no follow up on problems whatsoever. Her assistant, and husband I think, sent me to the wrong office to get an MRI. He insisted I needed to use them instead of my regular hospital and it turned out they were out of network for me. I got a bill that was massive and, since I was dumb enough to think they knew what they were talking about, I am still paying it a year later. Then my work sent in a request confirmation 3 times with no response. My primary care physician has already OK'd it and has had it in for 2 months. I do not feel there is any reason to see Dr. Goldman if you have anyone else to see instead.

I very low blood pressure. My GP sent me to Dr. Goldman. She performed several physical tests in the office. Told me I needed to see a Cardiologist and have a tilt table test done. Well I failed the tilt table test. My black outs were coming from be blood not able to catch up with to my brain from a laying or sitting position to a standing on. The Electro Physiologist who did the tilt table test started me on a blood pressure pill to raise my blood pressure.

I wouldn't say she has poor bedside manner, I would actually consider her to be quite rude. She does not go over things with you, will not engage in discussions about treatments that are in conflict with her treatment plan. She has very strong opinions, and is quite stubborn. I had been taking ativan .5mg 2X daily when coming into her care. She looked at me like I was crazy, saying I needed to be on xanex .5 2
