Dr. Taylor B Chesney, PsyD

Taylor has a very stern personality. Furthermore, she doesn't seem to understand and communicate Dr. Burns program very well. Her rates are very high and she seems consumed with making money over seeing her patients improvement. This SHOULD have ONLY been a month or two program. She had me coming in for over a year and yet, she didn't seem to try many of Dr. Burns modalities. Even the few things we touched on were not explained well. You are better off buying the book and workbook and doing it on your own. Otherwise, see Matt who is in California and has worked directly for Dr. Burns. Very disappointed as they make so many claims, yet, i was very disappointed and hope she spends a lot more time in training prior to seeing anymore patients. One aspect of the program was that Dr. Chesney was supposed to speak w the group of people in California once a week about my case. Then come back to me and have a thorough discussion, however, I never received any real feedback. Just a ploy and I… was looking for a some very strong advice. I traveled far for these sessions and I must say that i have gotten more out of the book than the sessions.
