Dr. Taylor Douglas Dufour

I was seen by Dr. Taylor Douglas Dufour during an emergency room visit on 03/16/2026. In my opinion, he ignored or minimized my main complaints instead of carefully listening and documenting them. I came in with serious concerns, including severe back pain, a persistent cough, and shortness of breath. Most importantly, I specifically told the doctor twice about frightening nighttime choking episodes where I would wake up gasping for air and feeling like I could not breathe. Despite mentioning this twice, I do not believe these serious symptoms were properly addressed or documented. My visit was documented as "Flu Symptoms," which I believe did not accurately reflect what I was actually trying to explain. I also did not receive the qualified language assistance I needed to fully communicate during the visit. Because of that, I felt unheard, dismissed, and not taken seriously. I am still dealing with the consequences and continue to see other doctors for care. My current medical care… has been much better, which makes this ER experience feel even more unacceptable. In my opinion, this was poor communication, poor documentation, and a very disappointing lack of care and respect. I have filed formal complaints with the appropriate agencies.
