Ted performed a valve replacement on my 89 year old father. His care a connection with my dad was impressive and memorable.

When I was treated with a bone infection by Dr. Spooner, I thought I was the most important patient he had. He treated me as though I was his only patient. I never doubted his skills or abilities. Little did I know, it wasn't me that was special, it was Dr. Spooner. My only suggestion is that you update his photo.

I don't know how long Dr. Spooner's office waits are or how courteous his office staff may be but he was called in to Methodist on a Sunday morning and battled for 10 hours in the operating room to save my husband's life. That's what you should care about.

Competence is obvious, success rate is a matter of record, patient well-being is the prime directive. Listening is the tool and compassion is the motivation.

DR. Ted Spooner led a team of surgeons who saved my life when I had a serious heart failure and needed a risky repair an aorta replacement. His personal attention to my safety and well-being extended to follow- up appointments and came from the entire team who all stopped in to ask about me and say hello.I owe my life to him and the team has my heartfelt thanks for the chance to wake up to my boys three faces for years to come.
