Dr. Teny Philip Thomas, MD

I recently saw Teny as her last appointment on a Wednesday evening. I was worried that I would be rushed through the appointment because of how late it was. However, Teny took the time to ask me questions about how I was feeling, thoroughly examine me and offered great treatment. I would recommend her to anyone. Her bedside manor is impeccable, she is kind, and I felt confident in her ability to treat me.

Dr. Thomas is a new doctor in the Northshore system. She shows great care for her patients and is really concerned about their well being. She has a gentle manner that evinces my confidence in her. She really listens to the patient

I just saw Dr. Teny Thomas, she is a newer doctor in the group. I was impressed at how careful and thorough she was in her exam. She listened to me describe my symptoms and asked specific questions regarding them. She also speaks her clinical findings/reasoning as she does her physical exam, which is a sign of a good physician as it helps the interaction be conversational with me and that helps in narrowing things down. She thought to do a certain test although, my symptoms were not "classic", and the test was positive. Now I have my medication, and can begin to get better. She is kind, and approachable. I totally feel comfortable in her care.

Dr Thomas is amazing

I had her as my doctor since my regular doctor was unavailable you could tell she was just starting out and finding her bearings- which is fine, but it was to the extent that I did not feel my treatment was up to par. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and saw her a second time for an unrelated issue and when she asked me personal questions, she made facial expressions that showed judgement to my answers that I did not appreciate. I had her complete a pregnancy test for me since I do not get a period anymore and would have no way of knowing if I was pregnant since I take the birth control pill. She had me wait for 20 minutes in the room while I heard her outside say to a nurse "did you tell her yet?' That obviously worried me and when she came in she told me to sit down and that had me even more worried and told me that my test was inconclusive and that they would have to do another one. That put me in shock, since I am not someone who is ready to be a mother. Eventually the test… came back negative, as I expected it to be but after that experience with her I will never see her again. Aside from her, I have never had any doubts or issues with any of the other staff.
