Dr. Terence William Hassler, MD

I think Dr. Hassler is a fine Physcian.

My husband had surgery in 2008 that was performed by Dr. Terence Hassler. Dr. Hassler informed us of the surgery and all steps that were going to take place. My husband and I were optimistic about the surgery until everything seemed to go wrong. Dr. Hassler came out of surgery, looked myself, my mother-in-law and my father-in-law in the eye and told us that he made an incision, moved the muscle to the side, shaved the mass down and sent it to pathology. My husband continued in pain and it wasn't until he saw the third orthopedic surgeon that he found out that Dr. Hassler cut through the muscle, took a biopsy, and sewed him back up. We contacted the hospital several times to get the biopsy report but it was never actually sent to pathology. My husband is still in pain today and there is nothing that can be done. I will not ever recommend Dr. Hassler. First of all because He lied to us about the procedure and second of all, he accused my husband of drug seeking when he came back… to him in pain. I hope this will help someone avoid the situation that we went through.
