Dr. Teresa Marie Bose, MD

Poor bedside manner, rude, zero patience, doesn’t return calls, bothered by questions—don’t choose her.

I unfortunately had Dr. Bose deliver my daughter at Winchester hospital. In almost every encounter we had with her, she was cold and dismissive. It was las if she was annoyed answering any questions we had. She made comments that I felt were rude and unnecessary when I was at my most vulnerable. She should be spoken to about her extremely poor bedside manner as I know I am not the only one who had a terrible experience with her.

From the first phone consult we had with her, we found Dr. Bose to be passive-aggressive, condescending, and short with us. Each conversation we had with her in the delivery room felt tense, as she kept inserting little moralizing jabs at us for having the audacity to ask questions an express anxiety as first-time parents (to be clear, we never pushed back on any of Dr. Bose's medical recommendations). I still have no idea what we did to deserve that treatment.

Dr Bose does not have a warm manner and I found her very rough during my exam. I bled after the exam which has never happened to me before.

Dr Bose has been excellent! I am so lucky to have found her! I am a very nervous person when it comes to doctors... Especially gynecology. Dr Bose has such a nice, understanding, peaceful, warm demeanor... I never felt nervous with her. She performed laparoscopic surgery and I was very nervous until she walked into the holding room and let me know she was there... All of a sudden the nervous anxiety was gone. I trust her completely. I can't say enough about how amazing Dr Bose is, but know that you're in good hands if you choose her to be your Dr. A+++++++++

I could not rave about Dr Bose more! I love her. She has a fabulous bedside manner, she is professional, she is everything you want and need in an ob/gyn.

I have not had a negative experience with Dr. Bose. I have been seeing her for the last 4 years, through 2 pregnancies and other things as well. She has been nothing but caring towards me. She put my husband and myself at ease during the delivery of our second child. She has called me at home well after hours to check up on me for various things. I highly recommend her.

I had Dr. Bose for 2 pregnancies that were both complicated and Dr. Bose was wonderful. She is very caring and would call me just to check in with me because she knew that I was so concerned about my unborn baby. I do find her a little short at times and can see how some people might think her bedside manor is not that good. The nurse practitioners in this practice are also wonderful and I try to see them when I can. I also find it easier to schedule appt's with them. I do find that the office can be very busy and there were several times during my second pregnancy that waited over 30 minutes to be seen. I always found the office staff to be professional and pleasant.

Like others have mentioned, she is rude and has a HORRIBLE bedside manner. She seems like she can not be "bothered" taking care of her patients and listening to what they have to say (concerns, questions etc) I had her while she was covering a weekend shift at the hospital and during my delivery she was literally complaining that she was stuck working! So unprofessional yet entirely arrogant. I am surprised with her incredibly inflated ego she fits through the office door. The Nurse Practitioners are actually pretty great at this practice, but the Drs. not so much. The good ones they do get, never stick around.
