Dr. Teresa Marie Dean, MD

Dr. Teresa M. Dean helped me change my diet and increase my physical fitness, my physical results were not bad but she knows I could be better. Very caring and a visionary when it comes to prevention of ailments. It truly help my mindset when I am on a treadmill or bike ride knowing that she would be impressed with my healthy lifestyle.

I have been a patient of Dr. Dean for a year, and this has been the absolute worst experience I've had with a doctor. She is actually a nice person, but she is unfortunately not a good doctor, which is the point of this review. She takes a week to get back about concerns I have, and that is after incessant calling and following up. It seems like she could care less about her patients. She doesnâ??t appear knowledgeable, as she just gives runaround inadequate explanations to concerns and has told me that she will check with other doctors to see what they think. The staff is horribly unorganized and incompetent. Getting a hold of anyone, and trying to make an appointment is close to impossible. No one ever picks up the phone, and when leaving messages, no one ever calls back to follow up (this applies to email as well). My insurance can never get in touch with anyone there, so my insurance has to call me, to have the doctorâ??s office call them. It is ridiculous. My wait time to… see the doctor averaged 15 min, which I would say is longer than average, not too big a deal. However, I was incorrectly scheduled at the same time the doctor had a staff meeting, because reception forgot about it. I was informed of this scheduling mishap after I arrived for the appointment, and had to wait 45 min for the doctorâ??s meeting to be over. If you want a doctor that will be informative, respond to you in a timely manner, care about you and your concerns and have a cohesive working staff, I would not recommend Dr. Dean.

I just had my first visit with Dr. Dean and found her to be skilled, professional with a wonderful easy charming personality. I was extremely pleased.

Dr Dean cares for our Mother at a retirement apartment and we feel that she is in excellent and caring hands. Dr. Dean (and her staff) are very response to the concerns of her patient (and their children) and is completely up-to-date on the needs of the aging patient. Love the patient portal!

Caring for a senior takes a breadth of knowledge and access to all the latest techniques, combined with a practical approach to know how aggressive to be in evaluating each problem. Sense, with Common Sense. That's what I appreciate about Dr. Dean. Very grateful for the care.
