Teresa Hocking, APRN

Teresa Hocking, APRN, is a family nurse practitioner who provides primary care for patients of all ages. She earned a Master of Nursing Science, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Purdue University Global in Indiana and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in Indiana. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Teresa served in the U.S. Army, worked in Indiana as a firefighter and EMS technician and spent 13 years as an operating room nurse. Her background also includes urgent care, pediatric care and community health settings, including Joshi Pediatrics in Crawfordsville, Indiana, The Little Clinic in Indianapolis, Riggs Community Health Center in Lafayette, Indiana, and Midwest Express Urgent Care clinics throughout Northwest Indiana. Teresa approaches healthcare with a whole-person view, focusing on physical, mental and emotional well-being as well as each patient’s sense of purpose. She is committed to offering both traditional and holistic options, …helping patients understand current guidelines and building realistic care plans that reflect their goals. For Teresa, the patient leads the way; her role is to listen, guide and advocate for the highest quality of care.

In her free time, Teresa enjoys spending time with her family, running, reading, cooking, playing video games, watching hockey, riding motorcycles, traveling without a set plan and finding a good cup of coffee or tea along the way.
