Great experience. We did not discuss tx options of discontinuing hormone replacement. However, doctor was great at sharing research info and included me in the conversation. She spoke with me about current lab report and offered some suggestions regarding thyroid issues. I felt that she was very knowledgeable and inclusive and would be a great doctor for me.

I had to get a new gyn recently and chose Dr. Schutte to stay within the SHWHC practice. She is very friendly as well as being thorough, patient, and returns calls promptly.

I had a very bad experience on my birth with her. I planner a natural birth and I ended with a c-section with her. She was not sensitive at all. After her seeing my disappointment with the c-section she said to me that there was nothing wrong with c-sections that she had two herself. On my follow up appointment she wouldn't answer my questions on what went wrong on labor and even said that she was there to save peoples life and not make dreams come true. I am very glad that I have a healthy baby but I am not happy with the way I was treated. Do not recommended.

Seems curt at first but knows her stuff. Very busy but will listen and return phone calls. Good at assessing situation.
