Dr. Teri H Mccann, PhD

Seeing Dr. McCann was a traumatizing experience for both me and my mom. She was cruel to my mom in family therapy and I'm still working to heal the damage Dr. McCann caused. She got personally involved in my life and would share a lot about her life with me. I was an adult teenager at the time I saw her and I thought I was special since she took such an interest in me. Years later, I see she caused a lot of damage and was extremely inappropriate. She would also often cancel, show up late, or was otherwise unavailable for extended periods (2 weeks to a month at a time.) I don't recommend her to anyone.

Something is really wrong with this woman! As others have stated, it seems as though she is the one in need of serious help. Until she does that I really wouldn’t recommend anyone see her. She’s manipulative and imposing, and she cannot stay neutral. She expresses personal feelings and opinions that are unwarranted in a therapeutic relationship.

People rating her poorly must have personality disorders!

Getting treatment from Teri caused me to seek treatment. Messed up.

Very unprofessional and misleading. Do not be fooled. She needs help herself.

Very confusing treatment. Felt like she wanted to be my friend and tried to turn me against other therapists that worked for her. If you go to her treatment center try your hardest to get another therapist.

She was very avoidant and made me feel small.
