Dr. Terrence A Boyadjis, MD

In late 2015, I was referred to Dr.Boyadjis. He was approximately the 5th psychiatrist I had seen, outside of the ones in the hospitals. I was referred to him so that he could see if his TMS therapy would be an option for me. Dr. Boyadjis and I can still recall our first visit. I hardly spoke, stared at the ground and was basically non-responsive. I can say though that right away I felt that he was different from all the other psychiatrists I had seen. In 2016, I underwent a round of TMS treatment. I continued to be depressed. I don’t recall if I was on any anti- depressant medication at this time. My gut feeling is I was not. I was on anti-anxiety medicine. In 2017, I went to Florida over the winter with my parents. I saw a psychiatrist down there who recommended another round to TMS therapy. I was also put on an anti-depressant or two. Upon returning north in the spring of 2018, I continued to see Dr. Boyadjis. I was trying some different anti-depressants and anti-anxiety meds. I was… still struggling mightily. When I would see him we would try to talk about about different things. He took an interest in me not only as a patient but as an individual. He shared with me things about his faith and I would ask him to pray for me, and I knew that he would. I was able to get a part time job in the summer of 2018 as a busser at a restaurant. I still struggled but was somehow able to hold down this job. That winter, I again went to Florida with my parents. I was able to work down there for the restaurant. It was during this time I began to experience healing. I continued to have consultations with Dr. Boyadjis while I was in Florida. Upon returning in the spring of 2019, I continued to work and see Dr. Boyadjis regularly. I continued to improve and was now able to care for my elderly parents who had been initially caring for me during the past 5 years of my dark period. In late 2020, I was able to secure a job as a customer service representative in the small business credit fraud area of a large bank. I continued working part time as a busser during this period. In late 2021, I got a job very similar to the field I had worked for many years, prior to becoming sick. I have also been able to rebuild a meaningful relationship with my grown children who unfortunately had to deal with me during this very dark time, as teenagers. Since then I have relocated to a different city for this job and have started a relationship with a wonderful woman. I am currently on a very low does of 1 anti depressant and anticipate coming off of this in the near future. I along with Dr. Boyadjis I believe would agree never thought I would be able to obtain this level of success after seeing me that initial and early subsequent visits. This is a long testimonial but I feel it is necessary to describe all I have been through. Naturally you can draw your own conclusions as to how I was able to get better. I can say with great conviction that this happened under Dr. Boyadjis’ watch and I never doubted he would never give up on me and do everything within his power to cure me. I recall one time early in our relationship, he came to my parent’s place to visit me and brought me my favorite iced tea. He stuck with me throughout my ordeal and various medications and treatments, and I firmly believe that without him I truly would have never gotten better. Paul

I am a psychiatric nurse who also suffers from Major Depression and Anxiety since childhood. After years of treatment with varying success and a 45 year career working with mental health professionals, I can recommend Dr. B without qualification. Ordinarily, I don't place much stock in this type of eval because due to the variability of treatment compliance of many patients suffering as I have , I cannot feel secure with the credibility of reviews.I am writing here due to my unique ability to provide an accurate review. This man is without peer. During a especially frightening episode a few years ago, the treatment I was receiving by other Docs, was making mr worse. when my PCP sent me to this man he saved my life. Impossible to get a hold of, have to play phone tag always just to get an appointment. Does not take insurance & HATES dealing with insurance companies regarding things like prescription authorizations. Has a very curt and belittling phone attitude, like you are ruining his day just by calling him. He writes out scripts but then if you need his help in any way getting them filled, forget it. He does not like to do any extra work beyond the office visit.

Dr Boyadjis became my Physician following a 2 year battle with impaired brain function so severe ,I attempted to take my life from an inability to live in such a debilitated condition. I am a psychiatric nurse and thought I knew all the options available to pursue for help,Nothing worked. Dr Boyadjis was recommended by my PCP and without question saved my life. He is responsible for a miracle that brought my brain back from the state of limbo it had been suffering for 3 years to a functional state and noone in my life could believe the metamorphosis. He gets the highest rating I could give an MD.

Dr. Boyadjis is extremely proficient at treating my anxiety and bi-polar disorder. I give high marks for his bed side manner, willingness to make himself available and understanding of combined psychiatric disorders. This was the only Doctor that I visited who was able to alleviate my symptoms and get me back on track.
