I went several times - she did nothing to advance getting me diagnosed. She did tell me at one point that it was MY fault for not going to Cleveland or Mayo. I finally got diagnosed via Mercy Geneticis, now have most of my docs at Wash U - where they do more than take your money and do absolutely nothing.

I called to book my husband an appointment. I spoke with a young lady who was extremely rude to me. I asked her to hold for a moment and I would need to confirm the appointment time with my husband that she had given me. When I came back she did not hear me and for several moments would not acknowledge that I was on the phone. I tried to get her attention by saying hello many times. I even heard her say to her co-worker that she could be doing other work instead of holding on the phone and waiting for me to come back. Once she finally did pick up the phone, she spoke very harshly to me for taking so long to get back to her and said that she had been there the entire time waiting for me to return. I explained to her that I had been waiting for her to pick up the phone and and acknowledge me. She then got very angry and continued to criticize and belittle me. The doctor is quite good, this receptionist is unprofessional and rude to say the least.

She takes plenty of time to explain everything. Very compassionate and discusses options for treatment.

She has a brusque manner. While she orders required tests, she does not give the feeling that she is really interested in the patient's health. She is too busy and not enough staff.

Carron is very thorough and will always run extra test just to make sure there is not any other underlying causes for your symptoms. She asks many questions during health exams and makes sure that her patients are choosing healthy lifestyles.

She asked enough that I felt she understood my rather long medical history; made recommendations that made sense, gave me a range of choices; felt that she was invested in the treatment plan and my success. Followup up promptly, exactly as she said she would, called me herself vs. hearing from staff. Would recommend her!
