Dr. Terry Bartholome Bevers, MD

When I was at MDanderson all she did was yell at you and if you give an honest feedback to a survey and she does not like it or investigate it she will kick you out of cancer prevention and MDanderson even though she is not the administrator.

Seems to want to wait until you have aggressive cancer to treat you. Not interested in finding recurring or metasisizing cancers. Not interested in preventative treatments. Likes to order big dollar tests. I did not feel safe following the recommendations. The motive was clearly something other than my well being or survival. I felt my concerns were trivialized.

She is very rude and yells at you!

I thought she was rude! Someone needs to teach her the golden rule....treat others how you want to be treated!

Dr. Bevers is a caring and concern doctor. She listens to her patients and takes time out for them.(unlike Dr. E.Keeler(Gyn)and Dr.Rhoades(Gyn) andDr.Shaffi(GI).They can learn a lesson from her.

I have a history of cancer in my family from prostate cancer, Dad, brain cancer - Mom, to colon cancer. I live and work in Africa and have pain in my scrotum and attempted to get an appointment with the Preventative Care group to ensure early detection / prevention at MD Anderson and was told by Dr. Bevers to seek an appointment with my primary care physician, who I explained would simply refer me to a urologist. Her assistant told me they could not help me. I am not impressed as it seems they are only interested once you are terminally ill.
