Dr. Terry Wayne Fonville, MD

Stay away from this doctor. Had a very bad experience with a standard annual physical that turned into an expensive bill due to Dr. Fonville choosing to overtest against my consent. After receiving a bill for services I did not agree to receive, Dr. Fonville refused to help and became argumentative.

I had no intention of writing a review of Dr Terry Fonville. I thought he was basically a nice person. Then, I went to another doctor, Dr Joseph Rahimian, and he told me that Dr Fonville said I am a drug addict. I am NOT and never have been. Fifteen years ago a doctor poisoned me and I nearly died. Since that time, the doctors have been harassing me. I saw Dr Fonville for three years. During that time I complained of being in pain. I told him that my legs were painful and weak. I said, I felt crippled. He said, “Cripples don’t feel pain.” I said I was having trouble swallowing food. He said, “Everyone has problems swallowing food.” Now, I find out, I have Multiple Sclerosis. He changed a medication for no reason and I got a huge skin infection. It lasted a year and he did almost nothing to cure it. The new doctor wanted to stop it. I asked Dr Fonville why he put me on that drug in the first place. He said he was “confused.” He kept mentioning his race. I realize that… people are sensitive about race in this country but I thought it inappropriate for a doctor to dwell on that with a stranger.

And I'm not exagerating when I say "he's a life saver." Has taken care of me for twenty-five years. And I'm not what you'd call the perfect patient. He's a non-nonsense,straight shooter who you immediately know cares and that you are in good hands.

Dr. T.W. Fonville has been one of THE best doctors I have ever entrusted my health to. He looked after my health for about 20 years. Everyone I've ever recommended him to has fallen in love with him as a humanitarian and caregiver.
