Dr. Terry A Garvert, MD

During COVID, I called and asked to be scheduled for an annual physical. I was told they were not seeing patients in the office and could only be scheduled for a virtual appointment. Upon meeting with Dr. Terry Garvert, she informed me they were only doing annual physicals in the office and I was told incorrectly that they were not seeing patients. Instead of ending the meeting there, she continued to ask me questions and later billed me $260 for it - and I still did not get an annual exam. I tried to resolve the issue that I did not receive the service I asked for, but was not successful. Town Center Medicine does not return phone calls of patients. This is a bad practice in honesty and integrity. I will not be returning to Town Center Medicine or Dr. Terry Garvert.

I have never had a major medical issue to deal with but Dr. Garvert listens to me, does through exams and has not sent me on unnecessary referrals. I was surprised to read the negative comments. I think she is a good doctor.

By far the worst doctor I’ve ever been to. Please avoid her. Rushed visit and when I expressed my wish to create a plan to be weaned off of a certain medication, I was talked down to and not listened to. She even told me I needed to stay on these heavy medications in case I want to get pregnant again, even though I never expressed wanting to be pregnant again. Charged $300 for a new patient evaluation and didn’t even conduct a full exam. A complete joke lol.

I found her the be a great doctor. Looking forward to many more visits. These other ratings below are crazy. She is polite and very down to earth. I really enjoyed meeting her. Liam Doherty

I have found Dr. Garvert to be efficient, effective and down-to-earth. Her manner is pleasant and she explains things in a straightforward and easily understandable way.

I have had a terrible allergies, I called desperate for an appointment.She was not available. She is the worst doctor I have every seen; she does NOT have patience to see properly the patients. She waits you to visit her to give prescriptions. Worst doctor. Worst Service

Only visit Dr. Garvert if you enjoy being rushed, talked down to & treated like an idiot. This Dr. is the worst of any I've ever visited a total waste of my time and money.

I went for a physical and was told to come back a week later for my blood pressure medication. She could not give me a prescription that day as she was too busy. She also does not refill prescriptions even if you have seen here within the last 2 months. Everything requires an office visit. No feedback after physical exam blood results - something my previous doctor was really good about doing. I struggle with a back pain, numbness above the knee and nerve which pinches. As it is slowly getting worse, I thought it would be a good idea to have somebody check. She brushed it off and said to come back when i am actually in severe pain. I have stuck it out with her for 2 years but it is time to change doctors.

My kids and I have been going to see Dr. Garvert for about 6 years and have no complaints with her whatsoever. The staff in the receptionary has varied over the years from down right rude to pleasant. I find Dr. Garvert cheerful, informed, honest, and approachable with sensitive issues.

First of all the people scheduling the appointments were impatient and did not listen. They got my name wrong and were rude when I was trying to explain why I needed to see the doctor. When I got to the office the atmosphere was confusing and crowded. Finally when the doctor came in she immediately announced she did not have time to address all my concerns before she gave me a chance to tell her what my actual concerns were. Once I started to explain it she was rude, judgmental, and told me over and over she could not help me with certain problems that I NEVER asked for her help on. I have gotten better care at a doc-in-the-box. This doctor should not be allowed to practice medicine as she does not seem to be knowledgeable or have her patient's best interest in mind. I highly discourage anyone from seeing Dr. Garvert.
