Dr. Terry Douglas Irons

Dr. Irons seems a bit overwhelmed working at my Dr. Now. My suspicion is he is not supported by having other doctors or physicians Assistants on hand to carry the busy workload. I believe he knows his stuff but is somewhat shy. That's o.k. with me. He does a good Columbo too. I would give him a four, but my experience over the last five years with My Dr. Now has not been 1st class which usually doesn't bring out the best in me. The appointment team is 5 star with me and most of the staff are on the ball. Thank you.

One of the kindest, most caring and knowledgable doctors ever. Would very highly recommend.

I think Dr.Irons is OK,but the office staff could use some training in people skills.I think i will try to find another Dr.

This doctor could not have cared less about why I was in his office, I had to do my own follow up as he failed to get my prior authorizations as I had asked and failed to get me into a specialist. After switching doctors I tried to get my medical records for two months. I was hung up on when I asked and at one point the staff downright refused to give them to me, then after explaining I needed them for my new doctor I was informed I'd have to pay $100 for the 7 pages of medical history. They are rude, uncaring and the doctor has absolutely terrible bedside manner. After FINALLY getting my records, I saw information from xrays that this doctor never gave me.

I have worked in the health care industry for over 35 years myself, and feel I have a pretty good background to respond to this question. My personal opinion of Dr. Irons is very low. I am on a Az State run health care program, and I get a very distinct feeling from Dr. Irons that he is looking down his nose at me. He is quite irritated that my health problems are so complex, and it is obvious that he would rather have not received me as a patient. I feel Dr. Irons is a very poor excuse for a physician, and I do intend to follow this up within his organization.
