Dr. Terry Alan Lewis, MD

Dr. Lewis literally saved my life! He saved my daughter's life! He does not sugar coat anything... he may not have the kind of personality everyone loves... but he cares and he is a fantastic doctor. He can be gruff and sarcastic but I kind of like that no nonsense approach. If you want to be coddled look elsewhere. But if you want the best doctor around who isn't going to mess around then he's your guy!

The best doctor in town. The staff is very knowledgeable and courteous as well. I would recommend them to anyone.

Not another doctor you would want in the surgery room! 2 c-sections , one tiny scar and two healthy babies! He called every 30 min. until I was finally put in a room! I don't need a sugar coated Doctor, I need one who will make us survive. He's a great choice! And I actually enjoy a little sarcasm:)

If you're looking for a "nicey, nice" Dr. That will sit and chit chat, talk about the weather and all the likes then you will be disappointed. Now if you're looking for the best of the best when it's time to give birth to your baby, someone that's not going to sugar coat anything and tell you reality, no matter what the situation, someone that's going to give their all to make you live to see your baby, then YES he's the Dr. for you! In an extreme situation whether its life or death for you, I would pray that it would be Dr. Lewis in surgery that day. He is a very dedicated dr. To his patients and always comes in and checks on them. I've had three of my four children delivered by him. I honestly couldn't recommend anyone else better than him here in Yuma. I am alive today thanks to him.

He's a decent surgeon but that's the only good thing about him. Surgery is his first resort for every problem. Do NOT see him for infertility care, he does not use the most effective or safest methods, he does whatever is convenient for him. The only reason I saw him as long as I did is because Yuma has so few infertility care options.

He seemed very knowledgeable but was very quick with appointments. If I had any questions I had to stop him from leaving the room so I could ask. The very first visit was the ONLY time he asked if my husband or I had any questions.
