Dr. Terry Madsen, MD

5 years ago I went to Dr. Madsen for a shoulder surgery 4 years ago and now I have to get another one because he messed it up. Please do not go to this doctor.

I've had seven knee surgeries in my life. I was limited in everything with the first six. Dr Madsen did the 7th and I can do absolutely everything with no pain. I can even run. Plus there is no scar. The man may have an ego but he earned it. Best orthopedic surgeon ever. If I ever need one again, I won't go to anyone else

I feel so blessed to have Doctor Madsen! He did my hip replacement and this 70 year old man went home in three days as I could walk with walker! In two weeks I was walking in the house short spurts! The front office are very polite and helpful. I have never waited more than 5 min to see Doctor Madsen! He’s extremely kind and polite! If you want a Doctor who will listen he’s the one! I practiced as a Nurse 40 yrs and he’s the very best. His scheduler is great to Kelly, there all spectacular!!

My very active daughters have seen Dr. Madsen for years, and as a club soccer coach I’ve sent more players his way than I can even remember. What sets him apart from others in his field is he doesn’t “look” for surgical procedures as a first option - unless that’s what is needed. The guy is quick in office appointment settings so be prepared for that. He can diagnose just about anything with a quick check, but this is because he genuinely knows what he’s doing. Sure, his office staff hasn’t always been the best... but I’m there to see a qualified doctor, not gripe about whether or not the receptionist smiled enough. Madsen is an excellent surgeon and loves what he does.

I could not have been more pleased with all aspects of my shoulder surgery and recovery. Dr. Madsen and staff were pros from every perspective. 10 stars!

One of the worst doctors I have ever seen. Terrible bedside manner! Beware!! Rushed through everything and did not take the time to answer questions. Something he is not passionate about he was like a robot. Please avoid!

Simply the worst follow-up of any medical professional I have ever seen. I requested a copy of my visits and have been waiting three weeks for them to even call or respond to this simple request. Unfortunately, however, this is just the straw that broke the camels back. I have had a horrible experience with the offices' unwilling to follow-up on everything. I should have know there was going to be trouble after Dr Madsen did not return an emergency call until three days later. Then for a year now, if you need something, don't leave a message because your call will not be returned. You have to go in and face the staff in order to get what you need.
