Dr. Terry Leith Swezey, MD

Dr. Swezey overprescribes. My mother visits Dr. Swezey and she is on multiple different narcotics (more then anyone needs) She as become a shell of who she used to be. My partner went and saw him and was immediately prescribed narcotics. He stopped going. I think he needs to recognize the dangers of narcotics and be more conservative in prescribing them.

Always taken good care of me and offers great information.

My wife and I started going to Dr. Swezey, when we moved to Vero Beach 15 years ago, he was one of the first people, we came to know, when we moved to this area, from New England. He and he staff have always been been wonderful to deal with, very professional. We are "Blessed" to have him. He always takes his time and provides each patient with his undivided attention. I've gone to Terry L. Swezey MD for about 25 years. I trust no other Dr. in Vero Beach, FL more than I do him with my family's medical care.

Dr. Swezey and his staff attended to our mothers care for over ten years before her sudden death. We could not reach him nor did he return our calls when her condition took a turn for the worse. Our family has never forgotten his lack of sensitivity or compassion. Please beware before entering into a long term relationship with this "Family Doctor"

This doctor and his staff are rude, unhelpful, uncooperative and a bunch of liars.I asked these people for help and they dismissed me from their care for no valid reason whatsoever.their behaviour is despicable.DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Dr Swezey cannot admit patients to any hospitals so it's a waste of time. He does not listen to patients either.

My mother was seeing Dr. Sweezey on a regular basis for several years. I was not satisfied with several the decisions he made regarding her medications and diagnosis. We sought the advice of a new physician who diagnosed her with a cardiac issue. Soon after she began treatment for this problem she began feeling better, decreased her medications and is back to her old self. I am not at all happy with Dr. Sweezey.

Dr. Swezey is one of the few rare doctor's left that take as much time needed to listen and treat his patient's.I highly recommend him to any one who need's a good Doctor!
