He is not friendly and not at all interested in listening to your concerns. He’s not compassionate and couldn’t care less if “his” treatment plan works for you or not. He’s not willing to discuss other options. It’s his was or the highway!

I was referred by my PCP. I was in the office waiting room and exam room more than 50 minutes before seeing the doctor. The consultation lasted less than 10 minutes, and primarily consisted of the doctor reading back to me information I had written on the forms. Then I had to wait another 20 minutes for scheduling, and then again at checkout. At which point they charged more than $300 for the less than 10 minutes. They wanted to schedule me for a sleep study, but what they were scheduling me for did not match up with what the doctor told me to expect. They would not go back and ask the doctor for clarification. The sleep study coordinator said, "Bless him, he doesn't know". But he's supposed to be the sleep specialist! On a high deductible plan the estimated sleep study was $3200. When I was asking more questions about what I was being tested for, I was told I would need to make another appointment. Absolutely no way am I giving this doctor or practice my business.

VERY NICE AND MAKE YOU FEEL AT HOME. I DID NOT HOWEVER GET A FOLLOW UP AFTER MY SLEEP TEST; I WAS JUST TOLD I SCORED A 49 OUT OF 50. I NEED TO GET THE MASK AND EQUIPMENT AS I AM NOW ON DISABILITY.

Because I am disabled and have Medicaid, I was treated like I was dirt. This doctor made me wait for 30 minutes while he joked with a nurse, with no other patients waiting in front of me, and then he was rude and abrupt with me. He ignored one of the two issues that I saw him for, saying that I was already being treated for that condition, instead of taking me seriously that I wanted to look at other treatment options. When I went for a sleep study, despite my disabilities, they gave me a brand new technician who did not know her job. When I went to get my records, the staff was very difficult to deal with. Find another neurological practice to go to.

Dr. Wimpey has been seeing my son for his seizures for over a year now and we love him. He is great with my pre-teen son. He spends time talking with us and makes sure all our questions are answered.
