Dr. Terry Jay Zimmerman, MD

I wish I would have never went to him to have work done. He did a terrible job. I went back to follow up with him and he wanted me to pay thousands more to fix his mistakes. I asked for my records and was told “they were misplaced”and after waiting for several hours they still could not be found. He doesn’t stand behind his work and was very rude when I went back to address the issues he caused. I was better off before I went to him.

Doctor Zimmerman has done my breast 3 times all to go bigger each time and done a phenomenal job I couldn't be happier great bedside manner and extremely nice and knowledgeable And not to mention The best looking Breast implants ever!

Had breast augmentation done by him and he did a wonderful job! You can hardly see any scares and size was on point! Healing went wonderfully, easier than anticipated.

It has taken me a long time to write this, I didn't want to give Dr Zimmerman a bad review. But everyday that I wake up and look at my breasts in clothes or the mirror, I am so sad. I had my reduction and went in for my first check up I told Dr. that they seemed very far over to the outsides of my chest. He told me to let them settle and we will talk about it on our next visit. I came back about 6 to 8 months later and was really unhappy about my breasts. I told him and the first thing he said was, "well don't fill out any reviews now and let's look at this in a couple of months". He also said, "you are doing pushups and that could be the reason they have pushed out to the side." I told him, I have never done a push up since I got my implants. I was having pain under my arm pits because the implants were so far over under my arm pits. I also told him that the whole implant was to the outside of the chest and that my breasts were flat on the inner part, towards my sternum. He… told me to wear a Victoria Secret push up bra. I just paid over 9k for implants and did not feel this was a great answer. He set me up for a consult for a couple more months. I went in and now felt that my breast were sagging far more than they should being I had a lift as well. He told me he would do another surgery to fix things and the secretary's would give me a price. When they called me they told me it would be over 8k for another surgery. From what I understood if I needed to come in again it would only be the cost of the surgery room fees. I was so upset. They called back to see if I wanted to set the surgery date up and I said no, I was upset with the price. Secretary told me that I should email the doctor. Which I did. He emailed me back and said he had no idea how much his employees charged and that I can make another appointment and come back in. I did not want to come back in, over time I realized that I should not take a chance on making things even worse and that I will wait until I can see someone I trust. I did not think going in again would not be a great outcome, I also felt I was getting the run around. I just want women to really know how this went down so they can really check out the doctors before they get this type of surgery completed. I feel like once this doctor got his money he really didn't care how I felt about my surgery and to me that shows that he does not care about the people just the money.

I’ve had multiple visits for things with him and every time I have, I’ve gone there with this feeling of trust, he’s an artist, a good person, and someone you can truly count and rely on to get what you want done right. I’ve been satisfied every time and as time built on, it led to me, “knowing” with excitement and relief, that he was the only person I would go to for any of this. A real miracle worker. And to me that type of bond of chemistry combined with those purely outstanding results, can be a rare scenario. Dr Zimmerman has my heartfelt thanks and utmost respect for how passionate he is about his work and the respect he puts into doing what he does to help others while making sure to treat you as the first priority. Also everyone else in that building creates such a good environment that I always felt welcomed and just plain better about my day on the way in and out, even if it wasn’t for an actual scheduled appointment. So a huge thanks to everyone there, for treating and… making others feel awesome even if it’s the little things.

From start to finish my experience has been impeccable with Dr. Z. and his staff. Everyone has been friendly, accommodating and follow up has been a breeze. Dr. Z's bedside manner cannot be beat! I saw Dr. Z way back in 1999 for Augmentation and was thrilled back then. Many years later and 3 kids I decided to get liposuction. I am over the moon happy with my results and my husband is too!

Dr. Zimmerman was an excellent surgeon. I would recommend him in a heart beat to anyone needing cosmetic care.

Dr. Zimmerman has transformed the look of my breast immensely. He is phenominal and i am so greatful to have gone to a Dr. who cares about what you want, but can also be straight foward and make you think realistically so that you are very satisfied. I have recommended friends and family and i push for anyone who wants a Dr they can trust, to see Dr. Zimmerman.

I've had my breast augmentation done by Dr Zimmerman in Feb'12 and very satisfied with the results and overall experience. To give you a background: my close family member had a surgery with Dr Mabourakh in Folsom several years ago and it was a disaster in my opinion, so I was very carefull in choosing a good doctor for my surgery. I was collecting recommendations (my OBGYN, happy women with great breasts) over a year and they've been pointing to Zimmerman in Folsom and another doctor in Roseville. I'm a thorough person, so I've checked all the review websites and was shocked to find reviews that were below my expectations for those two doctors. I did the same for the dr who did the work on my family member and those were positive. That didn't make sense to me. I've decided to go with Dr. Zimmerman and I'm glad I did. Everything went well - staff, bedside manners, expectations, results. My breasts are proportionate and beautiful. My original breasts were small and got smaller after… breastfeedings, I didn't have any other concerns or problems, and I'm glad I've trusted DrZimmerman to do the work because the results are amazing and no complications.

Dr. Zimmerman was so honest, up front, and thorough throughout the entire process. It really made me feel comfortable! The staff was also very kind and helpful! I would recommend him to anyone!
