This appointment was regarding my recent cancer diagnosis and treatment plans. The doctor and his staff helped me deal with this.

I will always prefer to see Dr Times. He truly cares about me & always tries to improve my health

Dr. Times is patient, caring, and compassionate. I have read a few negative comments about having to wait too long for your scheduled appointment, while this may be true, once you meet with Dr. Times, you can easily see why. He not only takes the time to make sure You understand everything, he makes sure he understands YOU. Dr. Times helped relieve some of my stress from the very beginning; he was available before, during and after my treatments, and my surgery. Thank you Dr. Times, and Dawn Quinn, RN, for recommending him.

Dr. Times is the best! My dad was admitted a week before Christmas to Sentara Williamsburg Hospital with bad cramping in his abdomen, weight loss, lethargy, and complete loss of appetite. He had shown these symptoms for about 4 days. The ER doctors and nurses, who were also excellent, let us know my dad had colon cancer and one of the masses was very large. Dr. Times was there to perform the surgery into the wee hours of the morning. He was able to remove both of the cancerous tumors, one that was about to rupture. He was so patient and kind to my dad and mom. We were in shock over the diagnosis but his tender and kind words were much appreciated. After the surgery, he explained everything in great detail and was upfront about the prognosis, which thankfully was good, the cancer had not spread. In my eyes, this man is an Angel that walks among us. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Times is an very knowledgeable and an outstanding surgeon and I feel very fortunate to have had him as my surgeon. He tells you the full scope of the issues, pros and cons and is very considerate of your views and concerns. I was equality impressed with his nurse and the rest of his staff. If you have to have surgery I would highly recommend Dr. Times.
