Dr. Tess Helen Pollinger, DO

Not sure whether it is an issue with the doctor or with the office staff, but no one followed up on prior authorization for a medication that she prescribed. The pharmacy called and the insurance company sent a letter, and no one responded, so the medication was denied. Months later, I still don't have the medicine. I tried to cancel a followup appointment, and I can't get through to the front desk. You leave a message, and they promise to get back to you by the end of the day. But no one ever called. The doctor was nice enough, but between the insurance company and poor followup by the doctor's office, I paid for healthcare that I didn't get.

Prompt and responsive very thorough exam!

Excellent first visit with Dr. Pollinger at the Malta office of Gateway Dermatology. Very pleasant, professional, and thorough.

I was very nervous to get Botox injections for the first time, but Dr. Pollinger took the time to go over expectations, risks/benefits and answer my many questions! She is very knowledgeable and you can tell she loves what she does! I had Botox to my forehead lines and the results are amazing!! Thank you Dr. Pollinger

I saw Dr Pollinger at Gateway. She was great! She was very attentive and caring. She explained what the diagnosis was and how it could be treated. She answered all of my questions with ease. I felt like a person in front of her and not a number.

The whole staff, from start to finish was professional, caring and compassionate

I happened to have my appointment around lunch time with Dr. Pollinger, but I was on time and was seen right away. There were many “patients” in the waiting room. I would recommend for the previous post-it maybe helpful to arrive on time, (on time consists of 15 mins early, not 15 mins late). All of the nurses there were super helpful! Thank you to the staff and Dr. Pollinger.

Would barely give me the time of day and when I was 15 min late she refused to see me...it was lunch hour. I begged for 5 minutes of her time and the nurse said the doctor said no. There was no patience in the waiting room. No compassion, never returns phone calls. One of the girls at the reception area slammed the glass window in my face. Absolutely appalling!

Helping me fight hair loss, takes the time to answer my many questions!!! Great bedside manner!!
