This was my first time meeting Tessa as I have been making appointments with whoever is available. Within the first couple of minutes, Tessa said I was being "booted" from the midwife team due to a recent diagnosis, so overall I was a bit bummed that my birth plans were changing. The appointment felt rushed, and after asking 1 question at the end she walked out without asking if I had any more questions. It was a Friday afternoon, so I'm not sure if this played a role in anything, or perhaps because I was no longer under the midwife team's care. Overall, it was a somber moment for me since I have been expecting to give birth with a midwife for the last 7 months, and this is how it ended.

I had a great appointment with Tessa. She listened and validated all of my concerns and helped give solutions/advice where needed.

Tessa is very nice, friendly, & personable.

She did not take the time to explain anything my daughter is 17 and pregnant. She does not have any idea of what is going on and the provider just rushed us in and out.

An IUD removal and insertion is a painful procedure. Dr. Hand made me feel safe, heard and as comfortable as possible. She gave me an alternative IUD option and explained it well. I went with the alternative and am glad I don't have to have the procedure again for 8 years as a result.

Tessa was the best gynocoligist I've seen in 22 years! Amazing. Professional. Sympathetic. Invaluable knowledge. I am so very thankful I chose her!
