Dr. Than Tun Aung, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Aung for several years and have had consistent excellent medical care by him. Dr. Aung is exceptional in all areas of patient care. He is also very caring and also has a wonderful staff. I highly recommend him to anyone.

The billing lady Stephanie is quite possible the rudest person I have ever dealt with. She was screaming at my husband and myself over billing issues related to our workmen’s comp claim. I have never had anyone tell me that I’m not allowed to talk to their office manager when I requested a manager. This was hands down the worst customer service we have ever received.

Dr Aung has been our family doctor for many years. Overall we are very happy with him. He has just gotten so busy that it is not as personal as it used to be, He has a great manager (Brenda) but usually he goes through receptionists quite often and we haven't been impressed with most of them. However, Dr. Aung's wife and behind the scenes staff are wonderful.

My mother has been dealing with Dr. Aung and his staff, she and I have no complaints about Dr. Aung, however, his staff is incredibly rude, do not follow up on business at hand. Today the front receptionist actually hung up on my mother who has been waiting a call back from this office since last week. I am hoping that as much as my mother may have faith in Dr. Aung that she will look else where for her care, she should not be subjected to the rudeness, lack of caring of his staff when she is dealing with such an illness. The need to have some compassion.

Dr Aung has a moderately thick Thai accent but he's pretty easy to understand after a few minutes. He won't write for any controlled substances. He doesn't like people who bring computer diagnosis to him. He brings a laptop into each room and will look up anything he needs to know.

Dr. Aung has been my doctor for almost twenty years. His positive attitude is contagious; he is very thorough, and is a very caring person. I often spend more than an hour waiting (waiting room plus exam room) but I am always pleased with my actual time with him.His office staff seems distant and unprofessional-- often I hear them loudly talking to each other about personal matters, or even making negative comments about patients. It's a very different atmosphere than most medical offices. If it weren't for the fact that Dr. Aung is wonderful, I would change doctors.

I have a chronic illness and have spent many hours with doctors. Dr Aung is one of the most caring and COMPETENT doctors I have ever met. I'm so fortunate to have him taking care of me.

We enjoy Dr. Aung more than any other doctor we have had in the past. We are over 55, so we have seen many, many doctors before we were referred to this wonderful man.
