Dr. Thanda Aung, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Aung since 2019 as my Rheumatologist. From the very outset of our relationship she was friendly, patient and very informative. I have always felt comfortable with each meeting with her via video or phone appointment as well as in person. A great concern was always shared about my condition as to how we can keep it under control and she always kept my Primary Doctor well informed. Always friendly, smiling, pleasant and concerned as she shared her time with me.

Every visit I have with Dr Aung is more like speaking with a friend than my doctor. I’ve been seeing her since 2019 when she correctly diagnosed my disorders after three previous attempts with other doctors. Each visit, whether in person or video, Dr Aung is prepared, professional, genuinely interested and concerned and as is worth repeating, friendly. I have absolute trust and respect for Dr Aung knowing that her patients are as important as if they were family. I feel fortunate to be treated by her as she has helped make my quality of life so much better over the last four years.

I am reasonably new to Dr Aungs practice. Having seen other rheumatologists in other places, I can say unequivocally Dr Aung is a superb rheumatologist - exceptional in every way: she is a careful listener, she does not wave away complaints but carefully considers all. She is clearly extremely knowledgeable and up to date in her practice. She is also exceptionally skilled- I have never had injections as good as hers- she takes care to make them painless and they are effective- I have best relief ever. I am grateful for Dr Aung and her staff.

Dr. Aung is thoughtful and thorough with a friendly easy demeanor. Both my mother and I are her patients and we feel very blessed to be in her care!
