Dr. Thelma Lynette Green-Mack, MD

I am a long term patient of Dr. Green-Mack (herniated disk, disk degeneration, disk compaction, arthritis). This doctor cares for many aspects of my well-being, not just my back. When I complained of tiredness, weight gain, and hair loss, she sent me to get a hormone panel ran and found that I had hypothyroid disease. My regular doctor ran a typical TSH, found nothing and sent me on my way. That's the kind of doctor she is though. Dr. Green-Mack goes out of her way to find answers. She gets to know her patients. She doesn't watch the clock like most doctors. This sometimes means that you may wait longer than you would like, but I have learned to be more understanding because when I need her, when I am really hurting, I know she will be 100% present. When I am there, I am treated like family. She makes you feel like you are special and she genuinely wants to improve your life. I am still able to teach my special needs students because of Dr. Green-Mack. She strictly monitors my pain… and makes sure that I am not over medicated or completely reliant on pain meds to deal with my pain. She encourages holistic and natural pain management as well (chiropractor, reiki, walking, art...). I absolutely recommend this doctor to anyone who isn't looking for a handful of pills and/or patches as a cure all.

sad to say that I was examined by Dr. Green-Mack. I have severe to profound hearing loss in both ears and she made the off the wall remark "Oh you can hear." she did an absolutely horrible report on the results of that exam. She even wrote that I do not have a head scar when in fact I obviously do. She also wrote that I could pat my feet with my hands which was definitely untrue being in a wheelchair with spine damage. She also did not score the Mini Mental State Exam correctly and reported that I had no cognitive deficits when in fact I clearly do. I could not recommend this doctor because of all the mistakes and errors she made.

I had to go to Dr. Thelma Green-Mack for an exam and it was very unprofessional. Some of her comments were totally off the wall and uncalled for. she failed to find a record in a file that was sent to her and reported that no such record existed. Obviously I cannot give this doctor anything other than the lowest rating.

A very nice and caring medical professional. It is impossible not to like her.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Green-Mack and felt like i was treated as though she'd seen it all and heard it all and couldn't care less about what I had to say. I felt like the treatment prescribed is what she does for everyone and couldn't have repeated back to me what my problems were. In fact, when I told her how long I had been taking pain meds she stopped me and said, "I don't care about that, we may get to that later" (we didn't). After asking where my pain was, and telling her with a lot of description, she came over to examine a completely different part of my body. I had to tell her i didn't have a problem there. I just don't feel that there's any care or concern from her.

Dr. Greenmack truely cares for her patients doing her best to look at getting you meds to help you short term while looking for long term alternative therapy. She has kept my pain under control and found me holistic solutions that have allowed me to keep my dosage down.

I was referred to Dr. Green-Mack 10 yrs ago by my family physician. It took awhile to get in for my 1st appt. But after that, it's been smooth sailing. Dr. G, Diane, Terri and Roni treat me like family. They address all my issues & concerns so I can continue to live a somewhat pain free life. I couldn't ask for a better doctor or be more happier. They're awesome!! Im extremely thankful & grateful to have Dr. Green-Mack as my doctor!

For years I have suffered from Chronic Pain due to several medical issues. Through the years I have tried every conventional method possible. , but inspite of my efforts it only worsened. There is such a negative Stigma on Pain medicine and those who take it. I tried for so long to do without it, but I lost all quality of life, everyday was an overwheming struugle. I was referred to Dr. Green-mack by a Hospital Physician when I was in-patient with a flare. Dr. Green-mack's office has given me hope. They taught me with their continued monitoring & management pain medicine can be safe and most importanatly return my quaility of life. I have seen Dianne the NP the most and I love her. She has genuine concern for her patients and it is truly felt. The last time I saw Dr. Green-mack I was having some problems that we're not really related to my visit. She was so concerned about my symptoms that she called a Specialist and I was being seen in their office within an hour. (My Family… Doctor had blown me off). I recommend Dr. Green-mack & Dianne whenever I see someone struggling like I was. There was a time PAIN was my life, now it is just a part of it and with their help I'm learning to manage it.

I was referred to dr.greenmack by another pain specialist who I trusted immensely.he had to close hispractice and rederred me to dr. greenmack and I have been very happy with she, and her entire staff from the beginning. first meeting with dr.greenmack impressed me with her knowledge and genuine concern for my problems. I see diane,nurse practitioner as often as dr. greenmack , and the level of concern for my health and my confidence in their ability and knowledge to help me manage my pain in a safe and effective manner is genuine.from the people who make appointments to rest of the staff, all are caring and make me feel like my problems and needs are important to them.all are professional and courteous.

I trust Dr. Green-Mack's knowledge, expertise and diagnoses. I was having problems with my leg and had had xrays and mri's but no firm diagnosis. When I saw her, she immediately recognized it as my hip and said I needed a replacement but did not try to coerce me. She said I would know when it was absolutely necessary. She was right. My most recent visits were for shoulder pain for which she recommended physical therapy. She spends the necessary amount of time with me, and I never feel rushed. In the past, I have had a longer wait and concluded that she spends time addressing all patients' concerns as she does with me.
