Dr. Theodor Stephen Parada, MD

Terrible doctor; very rude, uprupt, unprofessional, keeps us waiting in the waiting room for hours; never says hello, keeps us waiting in the patient room for hours and no bedside manner. Walks around from room to room aimlessly and seems to be lost or in deep thought. One of the worst doctors I have ever met. Would never recomend him to anyone, not even my worst enemies!!! Stay away from Dr. Parada.

To difficult to an make an appointment with and always late. My last appointment was 90 minutes. He diagnosed my problem but I din't feel confident so I got a second opinion. The diagnosis was correct but I will not go back. Too much of a hassle and inconvenience.

So what if you have to wait to see the physician? He takes his time and accurately diagnosis your health condition. He makes appropriate referrals to specialists when needed. His secretary is rude and unprofessional but physician is kind and knowledgeable.

Dr. Parada kept my 85-yr-old aunt at Seton Medical Center for 3 wks, for a simple bladder infection and refused our pleas to release her. I am her sole family member and left several phone messages trying to get information on her condition - he never returned any of them. When he finally released her, he claimed she had diabetes and asthma and belonged in a nursing home. He prescribed daily insulin shots (which she could not do herself) and refused our plea to consider oral meds instead, so she could remain in her home. He also prescribed a nebulizer 4x/day for the supposed asthma. We took her to a different hospital and they found that she did not have diabetes or asthma. Her actual breathing problem turned out to be a blood clot in the lung, which was treated in a week. The whole experience was a nightmare. Stay away.

Makes my mother wait too long. She's 78 and can't sit long. Office doesn't seem sanitary. We have started with other doctor that is more professional.

OK doctor but difficult to get appt. with. He is always late usually mor than an hour. Examining room is messy with blood stains on wall. I have switched doctors.
