If no star was available I would choose that. Went to ER with my 2 year old covered in a rash face down to her toes and eye swollen. The room we were put in had very dimed lights. He came in NEVER even touched her to look her skin over. Just stood backed away from her reaching out his neck to look her over from a distance. When I raised her shirt to show him even her stomach had it and her ears he just stretched out his neck to nod then quickly back in his spot. I literally felt like he was treating my child like a disease!!!! Horrified at this from a Dr. with a sick baby in front of him?!!! He said doesn't seem to be a bacterial rash or viral yet its severe! Severe enough where he just stood in his spot while I lifted up her clothes to show him the body rash because he made it clear he wouldn't do so himself! Didn't even bother turing on light to even attempt an exam. The nurse turned on light when she came in to check vitals and give a dose of steriods (that's the only solution he… could give. No info as to why this was happening) We were then discharged. I left feeling not only frustrated but like my child did not matter and she wasn't good enough for him to even get close enough to properly exam!
