Dr. Theodore Henry Brown, MD

Dr is good ,have no complaints.front office seems extremely hurried ,for a one Dr. Office and only open until 5:00 on three days a week and only until 1:00 the other two,you would think they are running a huge busy office,never can speak to the two front office ladies without feeling you are a bother and they are to very very busy,biggest complaint, and they reflect this on a good DR.

Best doctor I've ever had by far

The Doctor was great. Very knowledgeable, takes his time explaining medications, great bedside manner. The problem was when I took my mom to see him as her primary care physician with my brother. I was greeted by an older woman who refused to open the door until I said who I was and why I was there with the fear of God in her eyes like I was waiting to attack her. Even inside she asked my brother if I was with them like she STILL didn't believe me. I never experienced anything in my life like that and I hope I never will again.

I strongly recommend against this doctor. The office is poorly run with overbooking of patients and very long wait times. Although a patient is entitled to a copy of their medical records upon request, their staff refused my request, stating that they would have to check with Dr. Brown first. Their staff also attempted to overcharge me for the cost of blood tests. Brown insists on office visits for matters that could be handled by telephone and I was rudely told that "he doesn't deal by phone." This makes him too expensive for me and possibly for many people in these economic times. I also was never given results of recent blood tests. It is either his way or the highway and I will be seeking medical care elsewhere.

While in the exam room, my friend was given a shot of Prednisone which almost cost him his life. Had this incompetent and uncaring doctor taken the time to go over my friend's medical chart, he would have been reminded that patients with a history of heart problems and diabetes should be handled with extra caution if Prednisone is considered as a medical treatment option.When we talked with Dr. Brown about the deleterious results that occurred by his apparent bad choice, Dr. Brown yawningly replied, "Things happen."
