I chose Dr. Giuffrida after searching for a new dermatologist through my health insurace website. He was close to my office, for starters. I had originally made an appointment with a different dermatologist, but didn't have a good feeling after making the appointment. I have had a couple of bad experiences with dermatologist who focus too much on cosmetic issues and double and triple book appointments. i made it clear to the receptionist that i didn't want to have to wait more than a couple of minutes past my appointment time. Dr. Giuffrida's office is quiet, well run, and punctual. Additionally, I was seen by him personally, not a physician's assistant (except for taking initial information). And his was not a quick exam. He was thorough. I felt comfortable for the first time ever visiting a dermatologist that he addressed the purpose of my visit and wasn't more interested in trying to "upsell" me liposuction or dermal abbrasion or anything else that was not the intended purpose for… my visit. I was very pleased and cannot recommend him highly enough.
