I found my own lump and brought it to his attention. He did not even hear it when I said I feel a lump. After surgery and follow up I was told to come back for an ultra sound and did not even do that. Wants to do mammograms in his own office with an old machine and you have to fight to be sent out. The staff and patients are even afraid to ask him. I refuse to go back to him. I was his patient for 17 years and this time when I ended up with cancer found out how things really are. Even the oncologist that I was sent to was not because he is good, it was because they just had lunch together according to him!!!!

Dr. Potruch is the best doctor, by far, that I have ever gone to. This man knows his trade and he tells you like it is. If you want a Doctor who will give it to you straight and who can trust with your life, go to Dr. Potruch. I've been going to him for 12 years, I had Breast Cancer 12 years ago, I know what I am talking about when I give him this recommendation.

Dr Potruch treated my daughter for breast cancer and actually saved her life. The surgery he performed was top notch! Now I am having some breast problems and also see him. His manner does put some people off as he is extremely direct, very brisk and doesn't candy coat anything! However, this Dr has developed an innovative surgical technique that allows some breast cancer patients to avoid extreme radiation treatments by implanting radioactive material directly into the surgical spot. He and his technique were featured in the Las Vegas Review Journal and he has performed thousands of breast cancer surgeries. Anyone that is thin skinned may not like Dr Potruch but if I develop breast cancer I don't care if the physician is politically correct or sweet; I want a Dr that knows what he is doing and does it well. That would be Dr Potruch. Forget about my ego........save my life!

A "Dear Friend" as Dr. Potruch refers to me was seen by this Dr. one day ago. He is very straight forward, which is phenominal in my opinion but just plain rude and nasty. He diagnosed my friend whith having breast cancer prior to seeing her after viewing a mammogram report and images. My "Dear Friend" hasn't had a biopsy yet and he is already determining that she will need surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and the works without waiting to see what results come back from a biopsy that she will have performed in a little over a week. Being that there is a strong language barrier I have made sure to accompany my friend for help and support. I wish that he would stop running in and out of the room like a mad man and learn to be more professional. Quite frankly, we will only use this doctor for what we need, which is a biopsy and a follow-up for results before moving onto another physician altogether. We were referred by Women's Health Connection Program. I will make sure that I am there… for my friend every step of the way and will ensure that she gets the medical treatment that she needs and deserves from a better skilled physician and one that is more professional in the same token. I also recommend that if you are a women and are scared and in a vulnerable position, seek another physician for treatment because his bedside manner is creepy and he seems to take advantage of women in these types of situations. My friend was hysterically crying and inconsoluble and I noticed that he was very hand-on, which creeped her out and she was shaking and told me she felt scared, the way he touched her seemed dirty not caring as much, and she was shaking and had chills all over her body.

Dr Potruch gives it to you straight, which I like. He doesn't make promises he can't keep. I have going to him for 11 years and I trust him more than I have ever trusted another Doctor.

Dr. Potruch is top notch. And his quick and incisive assessment of my wife's problems gave us both a strong feeling of confidence. His bedside manners were excellent and he cared. However, his office suffers greatly from document incompetence. It was our first time and we had to fill out so many different documents. Instead of 10 different and distinct documents to fill out, why not make one document with several pages all stapled together. And ELIMINATE repeated fields to fill out such as NAME, DATE, REFERRING PHYSICIAN, and all the insurance information. They took a copy of our Driver's Licence and Insurance Card, then why should I fill out all that info again???? By doing this small improvement would save 5-10 mins of our time. Also, why should we have to fill out everything on paper only for some poor nursing assistant to interpret our writing and re-enter into a computer??? Just buy a couple of IPADs and put the form onto an IPAD and we can fill them out electronically, saving… time, improving accuracy, and improving the customer experience. When one returning customer (an older lady) was asked to fill out again a form she had filled out a year before, she resisted, asking why should she have to fill it out again if none of her information changed from the previous year. The receptionist quipped back, "because that is how we can stay employed". Too often I see that the best doctors have the WORST staff! And unfortunately, those with the best staff often are the worst doctors. This is wrong!
