My Family Doctor’s recommendation My appointment was very difficult for me. The Dr. was cold and uncaring and very much a Robot. I needed help and all she did was up one of my medicine. I asked her is there a medicine she could give me one kind instead of five different kinds . Her response was to Shrug shrug Her shoulder and said not sure will just start with rising my meds and keep asking me anything else. Told me I need a letter from my family Dr. to give me one of my meds When all of my information was on integis website, Unreal.! I could not recommend dr Garton

Unfortunately, I was blindly referred to Theresa Garton’s office. I hadn’t googled her reviews before my appointment. She was like talking to a robot. No emotion other than evil smirks. I’d been waiting THREE months for my appointment. I’ve been taking benzo medication for 12 years for crippling anxiety and PTSD. Instead of filling my benzo, she directed me to take more of an antidepressant (higher than the highest dosage) which could cause serotonin syndrome. She also wanted to put me on medication for nightmares, that are not out of normal range. In order to get the benzo I NEED, I was to go to therapy AND provide a letter from my previous provider stating I’m no longer seeing them. I was there on my last leg. I was there because I needed immediate treatment. She also said that she would NEVER give me 3mg of klonopin a day, as if I’m the one who put myself on it. I take it for a reason. I understand there are pill seekers who waste their time, but I was there because I… needed HELP! I will not be returning and will also be firing my primary doctor who referred me to this clinic. Please listen to the reviews! I’m not hard to please, but I don’t have time for games. If there’s not a database they can use where they can see if you’re visiting another provider, that’s not my problem. Office staff was exceptional! Nicest office staff I’ve come across. It’s a shame!

Listen to the negative reviews. They’re right and I wish I would’ve read them. This lady is arrogant and incompetent. She misdiagnosed me and wouldn’t help me. Shes stubborn and won’t listen. She’s horrible with communication. I wouldn’t recommend her at all.

I'm so glad that I did not take stock in the poor reviews I found regarding Dr. Garton. I found none of them to be accurate, and I would recommend Dr. Garton without hesitation. She listened to my problem, and her concern was genuine. Dr. Garton even allowed me to participate in the medication decisions that were chosen. I have a lot of hope for my future under her care.

Integris really needs to drop her as a doctor. She rushes through the appointment. Doesn't spend enough time to get an accurate diagnosis. Seems like all she cares about is money. She misdiagnosed me as depressed when really I'm bipolar. Put me on an antidepressant that made me spin out of control in a horrible mania. I became suicidal and almost took my life. I couldn't reach her when I tried to contact her office about my crisis. When I ended up in the hospital she blamed me for not being compliant when it was in fact her fault for putting me on the wrong medication. I almost lost my life thanks to her. Don't put your life in her hands or you might just lose it. And she doesn't care.

Horrible Doctor. They need to revoke her license. She ran me through the gamit of meds and all of them made me worse. She doesn't know what she's doing. She's a horrible person, rude, domineering. Don't go see her. Her office never returns phone calls. I ran out of meds and went through horrible withdrawals and ended up in the hospital.

Easy to talk with reviewed information well

If your meds are going to run out over a weekend and pharmacy faxes in request 2 days before it will not be refilled. Service will not page her so doesn't matter if you follow her orders or not she will let you fall thru cracks month after month. She acts like she doesn't care. Very cold manner. Not a good doctor at all
