Did not offer adequate advice on anything mental health related, focused on personal life issues rather than mental health and veered sessions off topic frequently. Nice lady, however.

While I understand that psychiatrists are people too, as a patient I do not think that I should know the intimate details about your two dogs, your children suffering from OCD and what you do for your housekeeping routine, yet I do. I felt that I couldn't get a word in edgewise and any questions of me were very superficial.

Dr. Lawrence diagnosed my clinical depression, created a treatment plan that was very successful, and always treated me with the greatest kindness. In some ways, I feel she "saved my life," but it's probably more accurate to say that she helped me return to a state of wellness so that I could lead a happy, productive life. I recommend her highly.
