Dr. Therese Lynn Whitten, MD

Dr. Whitten was my doctor for 4 babies. The dr that was supposed to deliver me was out of town and she was the one on call so I decided to just stick with her. Every experience with her was a quick visit and she never had a great friendly manner to her. Little did I know how AWFUL she was going to treat me with my 4th child. I scheduled a routine check up after having our baby and I had SEVERE post partum and I came to her sharing everything I was going through and she was TERRIBLE to me. She told me she was not *my therapist* and had a rude demeaning attitude towards me. She was in and out and I went into a full blown panic attack after our visit from her feeling so alone and worse after meeting with her. During my 4th pregnancy I was older and more aware of my rights and wants and I said no to some things she was "traditional" about and she was annoyed and frustrated every appointment. I told her I was going into labor and having a ton of pain but she still blew me off. Little did… she know.. i was NOT lying and had my baby super quick and early. She looks at patience like another number. DO NOT GO TO THIS WOMAN. SHE IS THE WORST DOCTOR IN THE OFFICE! I HAVEN'T EVER EVER FELT THE NEED TO SHARE A BAD REVIEW BUT I WARN YOU MAMAS. SHE IS NOT THE CAREGIVER YOU NEED. So many after this shared how awful she was to them too. I wish we all could get her licensed pulled for the amount of harm she is doing to these new and pregnant mamas that do not know any better.

I found her to be a very smart doctor but one who needs to improve her bedside manner. I never felt like she fully informed me of what was going on during my pregnancy and pushed many of my concerns aside. There's a lot of other things I was unhappy about but most all come back to her not being very personable.

Worse bedside manner of any OB/GYN I have ever been to! No compassion or empathy for pelvic pain or dysfunction. I regret that I allowed her to do surgery on me then found out she didn't even know her anatomy of pelvis well enough to make correct diagnosis. I suffered a long time due to wasting time with her.

I would not recommend this dr. She acted as if I was wastinG her time. The most painful pap I have ever experienced, as well as breast exzam. She didn't explain anything. Rude dr.

Very pleased with care, after birth of my second son and also for routine gyn exam. Dr. Whitten sent me immediately for ultrasound of my enlarged thyroid (which my other doctors over the years had said was enlarged, but none told me to have it checked) and this led to discovery of a nodule and tumor. Her appropropriate recommendation possibly avoided the cancer progressing to a more serious stage. Caring and competent physician.
