Dr. Pham is amazing... Caring, Compassionate and competent! After living with hourly chronic upper back and cervical spine pain for the past 36 months, she was able to relieve day to day pain so that I could function at a normal level and live my life without wanting to take pain controlled medications every day. Her bed side manner is among the best - I know personally recommend my colleagues who suffer from chronic pain, mostly from previous sport injuries to her. She frequently consults with some of the distinguished physicians and surgeons in America working at UCSF for complex pain management issues. In closing, UCSF Pain Management Center has been recognized by its peers as one of the top pain management centers in the U.S. Hopefully, UCSF will recognize their efforts and move them into a new facility!

Dr, Pham is good, considering that she is also a professor who talks fast you have to be able to keep up, but she knows her stuff, just make sure to get your questions in. However, she does not dismiss your complaints and explores options other physicians have dismissed to find the cause and find the solution, one may not work and she gives no guarantees but she does give hope and that is what many patients need to keep going.
