Dr. Thomas Clark Barber, MD

I recently had a revision of a total knee replacement, and Dr. Barber was my surgeon. (He was not my surgeon for the original knee replacement surgery three years ago.) He came highly recommended, and I was not disappointed! He is kind and caring, and highly skilled as well. In addition, his staff are quite professional and easy to contact, and have been very helpful in answering my questions and providing me with all the necessary information about my surgery. Dr. Barber works with an excellent team at the hospital. In pre-op, I had interactions with various members of the team, and they were all great! Even after I came home, some of that team have called to check on me, and they have been available when I have had questions and concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Barber!

Had to replace both hips. He was very kind and comforting during the process. After two years of dealing with bad hips I am almost pain free, just 2 weeks after sugery. Would definitely recommend him. Very professional during the whole process and follow up care is awesome as well.

From the initial consultation , to the preop work and especially the day of surgery and all of the details afterwards, I received outstanding, expert care. Every member of his team were available to do their part so that even when there was a potential snafu with my pharmacy, they solved it quickly and without any complaint . Dr Barber and his team are SO amazing. I had one hip replaced this June and the other side replaced 2 weeks ago. NO PAIN! Both were outpatient and I was home within hours after surgery. Wonderful outcome, stability, function, and ease of recovery. His team is always available and their pre-surgery preparedness really helps with the "scare" factor! Lucky you if you can have him for your surgeon!

Dr. Barber is an excellent surgeon. My hip replacement felt little or no pain. He is easy to talk to and his staff is very responsive.
