I think Dr. Barker is a superb physician. I am however disappointed in the fact that I only get to see him for my annual well check up and not when I am sick. I called a couple of days ago feeling like I had the flu was hoping that I could get a prescription for Tamiflu called in to my pharmacy. I was was told to go to urgent care. I couldn't even get an appointment. I want to know my doctor is there for me when I am sick.

Dr. Barker sincerely cares about his patients. He saved my life, literally... He convinced me to see a specialist who found my cancer in the early stage and I've been cancer free for over 8 years now! Thank You Lord for Dr. Thomas Barker!

The only thing he and I disagree on is the alprozam..I take no other meds but BP and I am very diligent on the prescription.i am 78 and have anxiety and panic attacks and let me tell u.they are tough. I called in a prescription after 30 days he declined..I still have a few days of the meds but going out of town and just wanted to make sure I would be ok..I have never been addicted to anything in my life and just don't understand how y all prescribe pain meds and I don't even take those..my question is why?..y all can have these attacks with my blessings and so by denying them I have to set for a stupid hour until they go away..my vent over will call in the morning..thanks.M.barker

As of 2016, Dr Barker accepts patients up to 62. Once you are an established patient, it doesn't matter how old you are. I'm 63. As for the office staff, I've had no problems. I like the fact that my email gets a quick response. The MCNT group has many doctors so if I see a specialist in the group, my records are immediately available.
