My slip on black ice on Feb 12, 2019, brings me here today, hopefully the end of this bumpy ride from a major mistake in surgery with my first orthopedic surgeon, followed by ordering an archaic physical therapy that caused an infection that went to my bones and likely is still there. Dr Bemenderfer is my third, and clearly the most skilled, the easiest and most effective one in regard to listening to me in my “layman’s” language, who repeats back his understanding so as to avoid confusion, explaining options, and giving detail in his plans for the two surgeries I’ll have had w him after tomorrow. What he expects the outcome to be, and makes sure I’m on the same page. One visit recently I just started crying stating it had been a long and difficult journey and I just wanted the saga to be over and began to release tears, he comforted me sincerely and gave me a a professional, yet empathetic short hug to reassure me he understood. So I cannot say enough about the quality of his… care, expertise and clearly his character as a Doctor and person. Thanks so much!

I love this doctor!!! He is interested in what is going on with you… he gives you the time and the right amount of personal attention. I had a very bad break and he even called me on a Sunday before seeing me. He did surgery on me and my two surgery sites healed almost like new… I laughed and said he could do plastic surgery on the side!!! Love this guy! I’m able to walk without a limp and I’m 72!!!??????
