Dr. Thomas L Bowers

I saw Dr.Bowers soon after a very traumatic experience with a different oral surgeon and I was terrified. Dr. Bowers was quick to make me comfortable and at ease. He actually sat down across from me (no desk or anything like that between us), crossed his legs and started talking to me like we were best friends even tho this was my first time meeting him. It didn't take long to start feeling trust in him. He made sure I was comfortable before doing anything and when he got down to business he was very patient, gentle, soft spoken, and it was a pain free experience. I really like him and totally trust him. It definitely has my vote!!!

I first met Dr. Bowers in his office; Dr. Winker sent me there for his advice about posible dental implants on my lower jaw. After he did a complete check up of my mouth, he recommended to pull out my only four teeth I had left on my lower jaw and have some implants done. He said that I could pick one of the three options: 2 - 4 - or 6 implants. He also said that my gum and bone were good. He gave me the total price for each options without hesitation. The price were a little too high for me, plus that I was terrified that the bone of my jaw could break do to my bones are too thin, and also do to my age. For that two reasons I went to visit 3 other dentists. The three of them agreed that my 4 teeth should be pulled out, but only 2 implants should be done. Not happy with that, I went to visit 2 more dentists, one of them said I shouldn't have any implant at all. I had hard time to convince them to give me the final price of the whole procedure (sorry, but I need to know ahead… of time how much the procedure will cost.) Although Dr. Bowers' price was a little higher than theirs, I decided to come back to him because my sense of trust was more at his side. Well, thanks to Dr. Bowers I have 4 implants - a complete success - a blessing...no broken jaw...perfect!!!! I'm repented not having 6 implants as he said I could have. I can frankly say that if he says you can have 6 implants, rest assure that you can have 6 implants. If he says your gum/bone are good, trust him, they are. For me, doctors' staff are as important as doctors. Doctors' assistants, nurses, and hygienists, are very important people, they, in certain way, have something to do with our health. That was one of the things I liked of Dr. Bowers' office. He knows how to pick his employees. All people that work for him show that they know what they are doing. They are respectful and considerate, they show interest in doing things right, they are PROFESSIONALS. The hygiene that I have seeing there is the maximum. I have seeing Dr. Bowers washing his hands and arms with soap and water every time he enters the room and he always wears gloves and mask. I have seeing the hygienist comes, with a mask on his face, to clean the room after a patient leave the room. All those little things that maybe nobody notice make me feel good and safe...make me feel that I'm in good hands. I want to thank Dr. Bowers for his job well done. Also, I want to thank Dr. Winker, who will do the cosmetic of my teeth very soon and for sending me to Dr. Bowers. Thank you also to both doctors' staff for giving me that beautiful heart warming smile every time I come in and leave the office. One more thing: The two of you doctors, plus your staff are excellent team. So, if anyone sees a beautiful smile on me, it's not because of me, it's because of Dr. Bowers and Dr. Winker, with the help of their staff. God bless you all!!!!

Best around. Dr. Bowers should be the BAR for all dentist. One can truly trust this man to have the patient's welfare at all times. Highly recommend Dr Bowers.

I had a major problem and had been to 2 dentists (who didn't help at all) before finding myself in Dr. Bowers office. He saved my life and will forever be my hero. A few years later my husband seemed to be going through something very similar and his longtime dentist flat out said that he couldn't help him. I drove to Dr. Bowers office and explained and asked if he would see him ... he did and took care of the problem. This is a VERY condensed version but the end result was Dr. Bowers coming through when no one else did. Thank you Dr. Bowers.

I have been to Dr. Bowers a few times for extractions. He took out my wisdom teeth and a couple molars a few years later. Each time I have been extremely pleased with my visit. The staff is always great and Dr. Bowers is great. I would travel out of my way to come to this office verses offices closer to my residence. Very happy with all visits I have had at Dr. Bowers office.

I am 85 and had quite a number of broken teeth. Two nurses told me I needed an oral surgeon. I picked him out from the internet because of his extra education.this doctor is one of the few that goes the extra mile. I have now been to him 4 times and could not be more satisfied with his efforts, compassion, attention to details and overall professionalism.
