Dr. Thomas Chu, MD

Avoid this physician for any surgical procedure. The staff is rude, he has no anesthesiologist on staff, and they do not manage pain, even on the day of, or immediately following surgery. The doctor also told me that the removal of this "pre-melanoma" would not leave a scar. Later, when I was having the surgery, he said that it would leave a scar. And although he formerly said it was not a melanoma, the day of the surgery, he later stated that it was on the melanoma spectrum. The surgery room serves as a make-shift office, with computers and paperwork in the room, and the surgical gurneys shock you if you touch the metal. At least three people in the office were not wearing masks or any other PPEs.

His staff shows a lack of concern for patients, Just a job to them. Dr Chu is not as involved in hair transplant procedures as he should be. He leaves the room and lets either LPN , RN or Nurse assistance do the procedure and follow up is very limited. You have a problem they will try to work you in no priority given to current patients, He trained under Dr Stough a master at hair transplant, but Dr Chu failed to learn patient after care and patient concern from Dr Stuogh. Dr. Chu and his staff whatever qualification they may or may not have is lacking. Dr. Chu should transplant or supervise the transplant, not LPN, RN or CNA After care is poor and lacking in concern of the patient.

Dr.chu is great.have had several cosmetic procedures and they turned out perfect.he's an artist and a really nice person.wouldn't go anywhere else.

Had a cosmetic procedure under local anesthesia with Dr Chu and it went really well..I can actually say I had a really fun time during my procedure! I was talking with him the whole time and getting to give him feedback and really having a solid shared experience. That is was so positive overall made me feel more capable and competent about my recovery afterwards. Great experience, I'd repeat it in a minute.
